– Intro about Arabic Calligraphy in General, and spaci cally Rukaa Font.

– Small orientation about the di erent pen tools (ill bring all kinds of

traditional bamboo, hendam and abanoos pens used.

– Quick info about the arabic Inks and how to make your own.

– Various types of hand dyed papers and industrial ones.

– Quick intro about preparing yourself, posture, surroundings, angle ….

– Short practice on some strokes as a warm up.

– Ill go through individual letters and the anatomy of each letter.

– Ill give instructions on how to use bamboo pens in writing Rukaa letters.

– Practice sheets for Individual letters and (all commencing letters as a

bonus) which can be used in more advanced workshops.
