Ramadan Iftar: Veghana – South Africa
Since Ramadan is the month of being mindful, grateful, and caring for ourselves and each other, and since KAVE has always been a community of kind curious knowledge seekers, we invite you this year on a journey of understanding global cultures through a series of communal gatherings over food, music, storytelling, poetry, and workshops. We open our doors to heal, move, and understand our interconnectedness as our ancestors did, through community.
We invite you this year on a journey of understanding global cultures from Sudan to Palestine and from Congo to South Africa to understand that our struggles are one and our power is one. Join us in this Iftar in collaboration with the Veghana to educate and celebrate South African culture and come together as one.
