This year we will be celebrating the Olive harvest by live streaming  the Badoude Olive oil ceremony  live from Betein, a village outside of Albireh. Badoude is a Palestinian traditional method of making smoked olive oil. This will be organized and run by the beautiful falaheen of the land and their idol and teacher Um Mhereb.

This is a collaboration of Falaheen (@this_bee_lana @tastesofpalestine @hani.elfar.7 @bisanalhajhasan), and their teacher, leader and idol Em Mhareb.

This year the Badoodeh olive oil celebration is special because the streaming of this event will allow people all over the world to take part.

The money for viewing this ceremony will be used to create a high quality video as a documentation for a very important Palestinian tradition that everyone can watch and share to learn more about Palestine.

Please note that the fee paid is not included in the community contribution to KAVE.
