07 Oct KORBA: Baking Therapy with Haya’s Kitchen
Join an interactive baking workshop with Haya’s Kitchen at Korba. As the olive and date harvest begins, Haya will be sharing the tales and traditions of this Palestinian staple – Ka’ak Bi Ajweh also known as Kaak Asawer.
Known for their bracelet shape, Ka’ak are anise and fennel infused biscuits filled with a spiced date mix.
At the workshop, you’ll learn about the history of Ka’ak, you’ll get to shape your own, work together as a community to make a batch of them and then enjoy their flavor with a cup of tea and Miramiyeh.
Please note that the age limit for this experience is 6 years and older! Please also note that there are no vegan alternatives to this experience.
