KORBA: حق العودة إلى فلسطين “مفتاحي بجيبي” | The Right of Return “Holding my Key” (a children workshop)
في هذه الورشة، يتعرف الأطفال إلى معنى حق العودة من خلال قراءة قصة سريعة عن القضية. من بعدها سيقومون بتصميم مفاتيح العودة لبيوتهم في فلسطين مع تركيز على القرية/ المدينة التي يأتي منها الطفل (من جهة الأم وجهة الأب).
In this workshop, children will learn about the Right of Return by reading a short story that addresses that. Afterwards, they will design their own “keys of return” to their homes in Palestine, focusing on the village/city from which their family originates (both on their mother’s and father’s side)

For about 15 years, I have written and covered different events in the Middle East as a journalist. In addition to my day time job, I had a passion for children stories; including: reading, writing, illustration, animations, audio productions and much more. After all this time, I realized that every part of our lives has a story, and we need to know how to tell it. For that reason, I have worked on a number of workshops to create a unique relationship between children and books, and give them the inspiration and motivation to tell their stories and express their opinions in their own words.
