The traditional breakfast in Nablus starts with Kunafa, a dessert made with shredded filo pastry, or alternatively fine semolina dough, soaked in sweet, sugar-based syrup, and typically layered with cheese, nuts, and wholesome goodness.
Chef Halawa will be making and serving Kunafa between 10 am and 1 pm or until he runs out, with stories about what Kunafa is, where it comes from, and the cultural traditions behind it.
