Palestine celebrates a beautiful diversity of food across the land. Dishes that vary from season to season, street to home, city to village, coast to mainland and even north to south. Each city has its own specialities and secrets, priding themselves on their quality ingredients and individuality.
To shed some light on these intricate flavors, Haya’s Kitchen will be taking you on a culinary tour around Palestine. Listen to the tales and traditions of each dish as you grab your bite on the go.
On the menu:
– Safad: Mjadara Safadiyeh (Lentils and Burghul with caramelized onions)
– Akka: Akkawi & Wild Zaatar Balls (White Cheese with Za’atar pastries)
– Yaffa: Sfeeha Yafawiyeh (Spiral spiced meat pastries)
– Gaza: Rummaniyeh (Lentil, eggplant and pomegranate stew)
– Jerusalem: Falafel Sandwiches & Qudsiyeh (Foul & Hummos dip)
The bites will be available throughout the day and will be served on a first come, first serve basis.
