Culture Conversation with Tamara Tamimi
Join us for a presentation by Tamara Tamimi live from Jerusalem on culture preservation.
Tamara Tamimi is a Palestinian born in Jerusalem. Tamimi holds an MA degree in Human Rights Law from SOAS, University of London, where her studies focused on human rights, international law and criminal justice in general and gender equality and the Palestine question in particular. Tamara possesses extensive experience in research, advocacy, political economy analysis, program development, and program evaluation.
Her session will revolve around cultural appropriation, and how to preserve Palestinian culture through food, clothes, music, and art.
The session will be held at Satellite in Alserkal Avenue and will be followed by an FAQ.
