Collaborative Storytelling workshop: An experiential learning workshop based on Körperkino methodology
This experiential workshop introduces participants to Körperkino, a collaborative storytelling methodology that shifts the focus from telling stories about others to creating stories with others. Drawing on visual anthropology, embodied practices, and multimodal pedagogy, the workshop approaches storytelling as a relational and intersubjective process—one shaped by bodies, histories, and power.
Through short films, performative inputs, interactive exercises, and reflective games, participants explore how stories live in the body and how they are shaped through collaboration, cultural difference, and interpersonal hierarchies. The workshop offers hands-on, embodied tools to think critically about authorship, care, and responsibility in storytelling, while supporting participants in developing their own narrative practices.
By foregrounding embodiment, liminality, and relationality, Körperkino invites participants to reflect on narrative inequalities and to imagine more ethical, collaborative, and plural ways of telling stories.
