Our monthly Craft Jams are a hybrid of co-working and networking sessions for creatives of all sorts.

This month we will be hosting an informal Q&A about NFTs in the local art industry with Lené Pieters.

Founder of Moonberry Creativity Studios International, Lené develops sensory-led creative thinking programs for personal growth integrating collaborative and self-help mindsets. She also speaks at various conferences and events pertaining to web3.0, metaverse, blockchain and NFTs, as well as sustainability in art. Lené is one of the team of Tech Authors under the leadership of the inspirational Alyze Sam (blockchain strategist, educator, speaker and author) who are producing the NFT Encyclopedia.

Curious as to what a typical Craft Jam looks like? I think of it as a breeding ground for ideas and inspiration.

Open to all simply bring in supplies for your latest project and join us at one of Kave’s large communal tables. Whether it be knitting, painting or graphic design, all mediums (including computers!) are welcome.

Our community aims to support fellow creatives, help make connections and raise awareness. Many new projects and collaborations were first discussed around that table and several members have participated in exhibitions thanks to open calls shared in our whatsapp and facebook groups! 

There is a small participation fee of 20 dhs to help support our lovely community space offered by Kave and can be paid at the venue.
