In this workshop which is the second and continuation of the previous workshop you will still learn the original story, the basic  sounds, placement and movement of the fingers(fingers dexterity) which are the techniques to create rhythms. You will be also be in touch with the roots of Djembe ensembles with an energetic roots Rhythms. Upon completion of the introduction to African Drumming you will enjoy the following benefits:   mental focus (mind & soul connections), physical exercise, cultural integration, cultural appreciation, community building, emotional expressions, and coordination skills with meditative effects to a greater understanding of the fundamental aspects of music. You will  then be able to identify these when listening to any genre. More importantly you will be able to join any drumming workshop & play your Djembe with dood technique & rhythm awareness.
