06 Mar Embodied Problem Solving
This workshop offers a different perspective on problem solving and dealing with challenges. Participants will be guided through a process of translating challenges, questions, or problems into physical states that will then be explored as a story, finding resolutions that may shed light on the original issue.
The workshop uses the “Storytelling in Motion” methodology, an approach to performance that centers on collaboration, communication, and meaning. The method uses a blend of physicality and ‘visual metaphors’ to translate ideas and concepts into movement, exploring stories as an indirect way of understanding and dealing with things.
