Our masks cover half our face, but what do they say about us as individuals? They have become a necessary accessory; masks keep ourselves and others safe, but they are also the first things people see. Add some style and flair to transform a mask with hand embroidery – making it as unique as the smile it hides. During this 2 hour workshop we will demonstrate a number of simple stitches and guide you through the steps to personalize your own mask – either using pre-embroidered tatreez fabric or by stitching your own design directly on the mask. Our masks are 100% linen, ethically sourced from the local brand Kayani. Includes:
- 1 Linen Mask (your choice of black or tan)
- Embroidery Material
- Step-by-step guidance

Glitches & Stitches is a homegrown brand focused on promoting the value of craftsmanship and artisanal skills. In addition to DIY cosmetics, hand embroidery and design workshops, they also host community events for creatives including an Embroidery Club and monthly Craft Jams.
Launched in 2018, G&S is the brainchild of designer Natalya Konforti. After spending 8 years in China’s fast fashion industry designing garments manufactured by the hundreds of thousands, she yearned for the soul & personality of artisanal craftsmanship. Upon moving to Dubai, she decided to leverage the skills honed developing samples to help other ‘design junkies’ become self-sufficient.
