15 Sep Plasticine Painting
In this workshop, we indulge in nostalgia, as this is one of the first mediums we played with as children. Using our fingers to paint is a soothing and therapeutic tactile process. The purpose of this workshop is to create an artwork with inspiration from a reference of your choice, while encouraging you to use your creativity to manipulate the plasticine through the different techniques that are taught during the workshop. You will take home a finished piece that you can frame, or even work on it further if you choose to.
* This is meant to be fun, while you learn how to use a new medium.
** Plasticine is a non-drying modelling clay, similar to playdough.
*** For ALL levels – you don’t have to be ‘artistic’ to do this.
