Korba Workshop – The Young Reporters of Palestine | أبطال الصحافة من فلسطين
It’s a new mission! During Korba, the Young Reporters of Palestine will produce their own newspapers.
In this workshop, designed for children 8-12, participants will explore more about how a newspaper is produced: the stories, the design, the printing and much more. Through a series of fun activities and improvisation, we will learn more about Palestinian stories, design and production of newspapers. At the end of the workshop, children will have designed and published their first newspaper! You will also be leaving with a customized “News Champions” Journalist Pack!

في هذه الورشة، المصممة للأطفال من سن 8 إلى 12 سنة، سيقوم المشاركون باستكشاف المزيد عن كيفية إنتاج الجريدة: القصص، التصميم، الطباعة والكثير من الأمور الأخرى. من خلال سلسلة من الأنشطة الممتعة والعروض المباشرة، سنتعرف أكثر على قصص فلسطينية، وتصميم وإنتاج الصحف. في نهاية الورشة، سيقوم الأطفال بتصميم ونشر صحيفتهم الأولى! ستحصلون أيضًا على حقيبة صحفية مخصصة لأبطال الأخبار فقط”!

An Aspiring Storyteller! A mother of two good boys… a journalist… a storyteller! For about 15 years, I have written and covered different events in the Middle East as a journalist. In addition to my day time job, I had a passion for children stories; including: reading, writing, illustration, animations, audio productions and much more. After all this time, I realized that every part of our lives has a story, and we need to know how to tell it. For that reason, I have worked on a number of workshops to create a unique relationship between children and books, and give them the inspiration and motivation to tell their stories and express their opinions in their own words.
