The Young Reporters of Palestine – The Fact Check Series
Another mission for the young reporters of Palestine. This time it coincides with the 76th commemoration of Nakba. In this workshop, children will put the facts right! We will go through some of the misinformation surrounding Palestine (the very simple ones for kids to understand), and we will put them in our “Young Reporters of Palestine” journals. From misinformation on food to traditions to the land, we will do activities and produce fact sheets on Palestine. Children will design their Palestine themed magnifying lens to keep with their journals.
The price of the journal is included in the ticket.

An Aspiring Storyteller! A mother of two good boys… a journalist… a storyteller! For about 15 years, I have written and covered different events in the Middle East as a journalist. In addition to my day time job, I had a passion for children stories; including: reading, writing, illustration, animations, audio productions and much more. After all this time, I realized that every part of our lives has a story, and we need to know how to tell it. For that reason, I have worked on a number of workshops to create a unique relationship between children and books, and give them the inspiration and motivation to tell their stories and express their opinions in their own words.
