There is something the full moon has always known about women.
She rises, and something in us rises with her — an old intelligence, a body-memory older than language. This is an invitation to honor that.
Rooted in the ancient lands of Mesopotamia, where ritual and tenderness moved in cycles with the moon, and in the quiet wisdom of the olive tree — its endurance, its offering, its grace — this ceremony brings together women to do something rare and necessary: come home to the body.
What This Evening Is
The Soul Session Ritual is a guided, embodied ceremony held under the light of June’s Strawberry Moon. Drawing from the ancient tradition, each woman is led through a sequence of intentional, loving touch — anointing her own skin with a specially prepared rose-infused olive oil, blended in reverence for this moon.
This is not a spa treatment. It is a practice of listening.
The strokes are slow, deliberate, and deeply guided. The oil — warm, intelligent, alive — is invited to seep into the skin, the tissue, the quiet places in the body that rarely receive attention. After the massage, we move into a guided meditation to release what the month has held and gently recalibrate for what is coming.
Women who have moved through this ritual often speak of vivid dreaming in the nights that follow, and a settling — something cellular — that’s difficult to name but unmistakable to feel.
The Arc of the Evening
The ritual unfolds in three movements:
- Anointing — Each woman receives the sacred rose-infused olive oil, prepared specifically for June’s Strawberry Moon. The body is anointed slowly, from crown to sole, in an act of gratitude and arrival.
- Self-Massage — Guided by Abhyanga-inspired strokes, you will move the oil into your skin with intention. This is your body’s time to be met — not fixed, not managed. Met
- Meditation & Release — We close with a guided meditation to help you soften, let go of what no longer belongs to this chapter, and open to the new month ahead.
What to Bring
- An old swimsuit you don’t mind getting beautifully oily
- A towel from home — to wrap yourself in warmth after, and to gently clear the oil before you go
